Cristina Cristancig

Director of the C. A. Seghizzi Choir

Cristina Cristancig, professor of Vocal and Pianistic Sight-Reading Practice for music education at the “G. B. Martini” Conservatory in Bologna, leads the Seghizzi Choir of Gorizia.

Graduated in piano and composition, she also holds diplomas in Music Education and Piano Pedagogy, completing her training with a postgraduate master’s degree at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. She has specialized in piano and chamber music with internationally renowned teachers and has had an extensive performing career as a soloist, in chamber ensembles, and with orchestras in Italy and abroad.

As a choral conductor, she has participated in festivals, international competitions, and showcases, receiving significant recognition. Alongside her artistic work, she has developed a strong commitment to music education and training, collaborating with Italian and international institutions and promoting musical education initiatives in the community.

She is also active as a composer, with numerous works performed in concert seasons and published by leading music publishers.
