Juri member of 55° International Choral Singing Competition 2016

Eugeniusz Kus is a graduate of the Music Academy in Poznań. He developed his conducting skills at the Music Academy in Warsaw, as well as in the Hague, Rotterdam (Netherland) and Vienna (Austria). He has participated in seminars for conductors in Bulgaria, USA, Germany and Italy. He is the conductor and artistic director of the Choir of Szczecin University (since 1969) and of the “Camerata Nova” Ensemble (since 1984). As director of the Pomeranian Dukes’ Castle in Szczecin, he belongs to leading promoters of musical life in Szczecin and the Pomeranian region. He has initiated several international and national choral and instrumental festivals. Eugeniusz Kus has appeared as guest conductor with the many orchestras and choirs. Foreign tours have taken him to Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, France, Spain, Holland, the former Yugoslavia, Latvia, Germany, Portugal, Romania, Switzerland, Sweden, the United States, Italy and Hungary. He has made recordings for radio, television and for CD labels. Eugeniusz Kus was a member of international choral competitions in Italy, Bulgaria, Germany, China, Greece. Hi is the Professor of music in Music Akademy in Poznań (Poland). For many years, Eugeniusz Kus is a member of the jury and the artistic committee of the international competition of choral and solo singing Seghizzi (Gorizia, Italy). He’s member of the national committee for the Music in Poland.
